Manage Java players

Use the Purpify game panel console to manage players on Minecraft Java Edition. Enter console commands without a leading /.

Operators can change the world, player data, server settings, and access controls. Grant operator access only to people you trust.

Grant or remove operator access

Open the server console and run:

op ExactJavaUsername

Remove operator access with:

deop ExactJavaUsername

An operator can run the same commands in Minecraft chat with a leading /.

Add yourself and the intended players before enabling the whitelist.

whitelist add ExactJavaUsername
whitelist on
whitelist list

Disable the whitelist	`whitelist off`

Disabling the whitelist allows anyone with the server address to attempt to connect.

Ban an IP associated with a player	`ban-ip ExactJavaUsername`
List username bans	`banlist players`

You can add a reason after kick or ban. In Minecraft chat, add / before the command and use an operator account with sufficient permission.

Join the server and troubleshoot connection errors.

Enter commands and inspect server output.
