Check the server
- Open the Purpify control panel.
- Confirm that the server status is running.
- Read the newest console lines and confirm that startup completed without a fatal error.
- Copy the current server address and port again.
Check the Minecraft server entry
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, edit the saved server and verify:- Server Address contains only the hostname or IP address.
- Port exactly matches the Purpify port.
- Neither field contains leading or trailing spaces.
- Minecraft is updated to a version compatible with the server.
Check the device and network
Some consoles do not provide the same external-server workflow as desktop and mobile editions. Confirm that your device supports adding external Bedrock servers. To isolate a local network problem:- Ask another player on a different network to connect.
- Restart Minecraft and the device.
- Disable a VPN or proxy temporarily and test again.
- Allow Minecraft through local firewall or security software.
Match the symptom
Test with a new world
If the server is running but nobody can connect after a world change, test a fresh world to find out whether the current world is causing the problem.1
Back up the server
Create a backup so you can restore the current world and settings.
2
Install a fresh world
Stop the server, then use Purpify’s world installer to install a new world file.
3
Start and test
Start the server and try to connect again. If the fresh world works, the original world or one of its add-ons is likely causing the problem.
4
Choose what to keep
Restore your backup if you need the original world. Then inspect its add-ons and compatibility before testing it again.
