Create and manage a database

Use the Databases area in the Purpify game panel to create a database for your server and view its connection details.

Create a database

Open Databases

Open your server in the Purpify game panel and select Databases.

Choose a database name

Enter or select a database name that helps you identify its purpose.

Choose a database host

Select the database host you want to use.

Create the database

Confirm the creation action and wait for the database to appear in the Databases area.

After the database is created, open it in Databases. The game panel shows:

Detail	Use it for
Endpoint	The database connection endpoint.
Username	The database account username.
Password	The database account password.
Saved data	The data saved in the database.

Copy these values into the plugin, mod, application, or other server software that requires the database.

Keep the database password private. Do not share it in screenshots, logs, public messages, or configuration files that other people can access.

Create a backup before changing data used by your server.
Use the connection details only with software you trust.
Do not delete a database until you have confirmed that no server software still needs its saved data.
Recheck the endpoint, username, and password when a connection fails.

Check server output when software reports a database connection error.
