# Service provisioning

> Learn how long Purpify service provisioning can take and what to do if it takes more than eight hours.

Purpify normally provisions a new service in under five minutes. In certain circumstances, provisioning may take up to eight hours.

You do not need to take any action while the service is provisioning. Check the billing portal for updates.

  If your service has not been provisioned after eight hours, contact Purpify support immediately through the billing portal. The support team will create the service and compensate you for the delay.
